The Opossum can roll!

In the past several weeks, Abby has learned to roll over more and more quickly each time we put her on her back. This is a great reminder that our little girl is getting bigger everyday. Last night she thought it would be fun to roll over in her crib during the middle of the night. She hasn't yet mastered how to from her tummy to her back, even though we have seen her do it a couple of times. This means that when she rolls over to her tummy, Cindy or I have to get up and go roll her back over. Last night she would immediately start to roll over once we laid her back down. Cindy said she didn't sleep for a couple of hours out of fear she would get trapped face down in her crib, a cause of SID's. We are beginning to think Abby knows when she rolls over mommy or daddy will be coming to get her within a matter of seconds. She is definitely getting bigger and smarter as well.

Oh, I feel your pain! MD did the exact same thing when he learned to roll. It was quite frustrating. I kept thinking - if you know you get stuck and hate it, why do you roll? But, I guess little babies don't think that way, yet :)

Anyway, good luck to you guys! Hopefully it will pass soon. It took MD about a month to get the rolling back to his back thing down. We're dealing with something similar right now - he's learned to stand in his crib and now he does it when he's supposed to be sleeping. Problem is he can't get back down! So, let's hope this passes soon too :) Have fun!

Heth...we love your baby talk voice on the videos!

She is growing up and is so cute. Brock loved sleeping on his belly and we just let him even though they tell you not to. He always did fine.

Have a great week!
