Abby did great today for her baby dedication at church. She was starting to get a little sleepy before the service started but was busy looking at the rose and all the lights during her dedication. Grandma,Grandpa, Uncle Michael and Aunt Helen were at church to watch and take pictures. Nana and Pop were able to watch via live streaming on the internet, Aunt Erica and Grammy and Pawpaw had trouble getting their internet to work so we'll have to send them a copy of the service on DVD. As we were waiting for the service to begin Heth mentioned to me that the last time we were on the stage at church was when we were getting married 5 1/2 years ago. Now we were standing there with our sweet baby girl vowing to pray for her and teach her about God. It was such a special time to also reflect back on all of the prayers that I prayed for a baby while sitting in those pews over the few years before Abby was born. Today we were able to stand there with our baby girl and promise to do our best to raise her in a christian home. Now my prayer for Abby is that she is healthy, happy, and grows up to love and serve the Lord.

I had to laugh when you mentioned your wedding at that church. I will never forget walking into the church, seeing Heth and realizing that we had missed the entire ceremony. I can not believe we got the time wrong after driving all the way up there. Thankfully, we got to go the reception!!

It looks like it was a wonderful day! You both have SUCH happy faces and look so proud of your little girl. We've yet to have Ethan dedicated and hope to do that before his 1st birthday!!! :-)
What a gorgeous family--Cindy, the 'coordination' looks great ; )! Abby is certainly blessed to have the parents she does.
